Gurugram residents will soon experience smoother and hassle-free movement on roads, thanks to five upcoming road projects connecting Gurugram with the Dwarka Expressway. The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority has made the decision to upgrade these five roads, aiming to enhance connectivity and reduce traffic congestion in the city.

The completion of the Gurugram section of the Dwarka Expressway is imminent, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate it by the end of this month. Alongside this, the GMDA will revamp five key arterial roads between sectors 99 and sector 115 to facilitate seamless connectivity to the expressway from various parts of Gurugram.

These road modifications will not only improve connectivity but also address the current issues of road damage and safety concerns that deter traffic flow.

Let’s take a closer look at the five selected routes to be revamped in Gurugram:

1. The outer road at Sector 114, spanning 700 meters, will undergo redevelopment at an estimated cost of Rs 10.66 crore.
2. The master road between sectors 102 and 102A has also been chosen for modification, with an investment of approximately Rs 15.48 crore allocated to enhance its appearance and ensure smooth connectivity for residents.
3. The road between sector 106 and sector 103 has been listed for remodification, with an estimated cost of around Rs 17.86 crore. Once completed, this road will intersect the expressway.
4. The road between sectors 106 and sector 109 is the fourth pathway marked for modification. It is expected that the revamp will cost approximately Rs 18.92 crore and will facilitate convenient connectivity for people traveling from Gurugram to the Dwarka Expressway.
5. Lastly, the master road between sectors 102A and 103 will also undergo a transformation as part of the remodification plan. The estimated cost for this project is Rs 16.41 crore.

These road improvement initiatives aim to enhance connectivity, reduce traffic congestion, and provide a fresh and efficient transportation experience for Gurugram residents.
